Known Issue: Online Transfer Utility and Proxy Servers

Sometimes your Online Transfer Utility (OTU) detects you're offline. If you're not online then this is normal and necessary. The OTU requires an internet connection to temporarily house your license. Connect to the internet and you should be fine.

However, when using the OTU to transfer a standalone license from one machine to another you may receive the following message:


If you receive the message and you are connected, then this is a known issue. It only happens with some proxy servers, Autodesk is working on a resolution. Please call the National Support Center at 800-808-7645 for more details.
